REALTORS often wear many hats within their communities, not just selling houses but also fostering their growth. One way they achieve this is through scholarships awarded to deserving high school students.

North Central Board REALTORS, Heather Hendricks and Jeremy King participated in the Scholarship Fair at Mountain Home High School Monday evening. Heather said her favorite question of the night was, “Why are REALTORS giving out scholarships?”

Since 2016, REALTORS from the North Central Board of REALTORS have been awarding scholarships to local area students. While these scholarships offer valuable financial support, their impact goes far beyond mere transactions.

These programs serve as bridges between passionate students and their educational aspirations. Realizing the importance of knowledge and its power to shape futures, REALTORS recognize their responsibility to invest in the very fabric of their communities. By supporting local education, they nurture potential talent, paving the way for future doctors, teachers, entrepreneurs, and even fellow REALTORS!

It’s a collaborative effort, not a self-congratulatory gesture. REALTORS understand that their success is intertwined with the well-being of the communities they serve. By facilitating educational opportunities, they empower individuals and create a stronger, more vibrant environment for everyone. It’s a testament to their commitment to building long-lasting relationships and making a positive impact that extends far beyond the realm of real estate.

The North Central Board of REALTORS is currently accepting applications for their 2024 Scholarships. Interested students can visit http://ncborar.org/scholarship-program/ to submit an application.
