The ARPAC Committee helps educate NCBOR members on the benefits and importance of the REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC). It encourages members to donate, coordinates fundraising events, and attends local and state political events and activities.
The Bereavement Committee contacts REALTORS who have lost immediate family members and offer compassion.
The Education and Quarterly Breakfast Committee provides and promotes professional development and educational programs and opportunities that serve to keep the members abreast of changes in the industry, are of significant members’ interest and increase members’ knowledge and professionalism. Provide continuing education courses with quality instructors. Incorporate, publicize and support ARA and NAR professional development and educational programs.
Awards for Excellence - This committee reviews and confirms entries for Awards for Excellence and prepares them for submission to the ARA. The committee meets at one time in the year.
MLS Breakfast – Plan and coordinate Annual MLS Breakfast. This event always takes place the first Thursday of December at East Side Baptist Church. Responsibilities include securing Affiliate sponsors, setting up and tearing down the tables/chairs. Meets as needed leading up to the event.
Fishing Derby. Plan and coordinate fishing derby for Special Olympics.
Feed Our Children - Plans and coordinates the annual Feed Our Children event for November in conjunction with the Food Bank of North Central Arkansas.
Golf Tournament – Plan and coordinate annual golf tournament which supports Special Olympics. Gather hole sponsors, food & drink sponsors, and special hold sponsors from our Affiliates. The golf tournament typically takes place in June. Committee starts meeting in April and meets as needed.
Nominating Committee - Develops a slate of candidates to fill vacancies on the Board of Directors that will be voted on by the General Membership.
Scholarship Committee - Each year, NCBOR gives out scholarships to deserving students. The Scholarship Committee accepts, reviews, and rewards the scholarships each year. The committee also plans fundraising events to cover the cost of the scholarships.
REALTOR® of the Year – Responsible for reviewing ROY applications, selecting the ROY, and forwarding information to ARA. Committee meets once a year.
Accounting Committee - Reviews and sets guidelines for the annual budget that is then considered by the Board of Directors.
Strategic Planning Committee - Establishes goals and objectives for the North Central Board of REALTORS®.
Bylaws Committee - Reviews the Board bylaws and Rules and Regulations with those suggested by the National Association of REALTORS® and the Arkansas Association of REALTORS®. This committee makes recommendations to the Board of Directors regarding any changes as they may become necessary.
Buildings and Grounds Committee - Once a year clean up of the landscaping, gutters, and windows at NCBOR office.
